SUMMARY:ERA Centennial Convention Planned for July 21-22
DESCRIPTION:On July 21-22 in Seneca Falls\, two women’s rights organizations will host an inter-generational convention to examine the status and action items remaining for passage of the Equal Rights Amendment. \nLead activist groups Generation Ratify and Equal Rights Action will kick off a nationwide effort to gain passage of the ERA by joining forces and building a network of advocates.  Their goal is to inspire participation by students\, cultivating the next generation of equality activists.  For the kick-off Convention in Seneca Falls\, they hope to have at least one student from each state participate. \nThe convention will consist of workshops and dialogue to formulate a strategy to gain passage of the ERA.  Aimed at college-level students\, the event is open to the public who must register to participate.  Check EventBrite for pricing\, which differs according to the age of the registrant. \n
